Newsletter Autumn 2 Term 2025

Autumn 2

We can’t believe we are halfway through this term already. This is our favourite term full of Christmas fun!

Harvest

It was lovely to see those of you who attended our Harvest Festival. It was great to see all the
children engaging in the service and they all sang with confidence. Thank you so much for all
the kind food donations which went to the local food bank.

Christmas Tree Festival

This year the nursery will be participating in the Christmas Tree Festival in All Saints Church. You
will be able to view our decorated tree in the church from Friday 19th December until Sunday
21st December 2pm until 6pm

Parent Consultations

If you have not already done so, please can you sign up with your child’s key worker for a
parent consultation. At this meeting they will inform you of your child’s progress and you have
the opportunity to raise any issues or questions about your child’s development.

Permissions

Please can everyone check that you have filled in all the necessary permissions and child details
(especially collection passwords and health details) on Famly. Thank you.

Nursery Shoes

Please ensure that your child has a pair of nursery shoes which are kept at nursery please.
These need to be shoes that are suitable for indoor and outdoor such as doodles or plimsols,
ideally with closed toes and backs to ensure safety when using the play equipment. This will
ensure that in the Winter weather your child has dry shoes to go home in and appropriate
shoes to wear in the nursery.

Drop off

Please ensure that you hand your child over to one of the keyworkers before you leave in the
mornings to ensure their safety.

Famly

Remember to keep up to date with your child’s learning journey on the Famly App. You can see
all the exciting and wonderful activities we do in nursery. The staff would appreciate if you
could add a reaction or a comment to the posts so that they know that they have been viewed.

PTFA

Due to many parents moving on last year we need to rebuild our Parent, Teacher and Friend
Association. The PTFA support our exciting events throughout the year. If you can help in
anyway, we are always looking for new members. Please speak to a member of staff if you are
interested.
