Newsletter Autumn 1 Term 2025

Welcome

Welcome back to all our returners and a huge welcome to all those families joining us this academic year. We hope you had a lovely summer, and it is lovely that the sun is still shining! We are very excited about the year ahead and have loads of fun activities for everyone to join in with. There’s lots to cover in this newsletter so please take the time to read it through.

Famly

This is new to us this year so please be patient with us. Historically we have always had two platforms Tapestry and ParentAdmin however following parent feedback over the last couple of years parents have stated just one platform would be better to do everything, we have listened and are trailing this.
Please use this as a way of ‘chatting’ with your child’s key person. Staff check their messages regularly and will be able to respond quickly to any questions or worries. Please also add your comments and thoughts to the observations as it’s a great way to get to know you and your child. The staff work very hard at keeping you updated with pictures so please respond if you can and add pictures from home.

Lunches

As we previously sent out to you, we are obliged to follow the new government Nutrition guidelines. Children are allowed to eat their lunch in any order and only what they would like to eat. No chocolate or sweets. Please also remember not to pack any eggs or nuts (including chocolate hazelnut spread, peanut butter etc.) as we have children with allergies. Please also cut grapes, olives and sausages and cherry tomatoes lengthways due to possible choking. Finally, please clearly name their lunch box.

Book bags

Please bring your child’s-coloured book bag each day so they can bring home their works of art and please check them for important letters from us. Just a reminder no toys from home please.

Jewellery

Due to health and safety please no jewellery at nursery (only stud earrings if necessary) and no play jewellery as these often get lost or broken during play.

Permissions

It is extremely important that everyone completes the necessary permissions and child details (especially collection passwords, health details and please make sure there are at least 2 emergency contacts) on Famly. Thank you.

All Saints Community

As part of the All Saints Church Community we must remind you to respect our local surroundings and the church yard.

Curriculum

This term we are working on getting to know your child, good manners and self-help skills. We will be sending out a copy of this terms topics shortly.

Thank you for your continued support.
